An excellent breakfast.

It was perfect for our overnight stay.

Dormire in una vera casa scozzese .. la padrona di casa , una donna fantastica .. super accogliente di un umanità unica .. stanza con tt i confort ( se si dimentica adattatore lei ne è ben fornita ).. colazione super .. Top!!

Maureen was the sweetest lady ever. We had a good laugh and it was a pleasure talking to her. We will cherish this memory of our trip. The house was wonderful and extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and Maureen also cooks breakfast herself and it was delicious. We couldn’t have hoped for better!

Now ! We arrived to this Beautiful Landlady one evening and by the time we left the next morning we felt that we’d gained a great friend. She is such a sincere special mature lady who does so much for so many. And has so many interesting stories to tell too, we arrived on our E bikes cycling the GGW and needed our bikes charged, not only was we allowed to charge them, we got full use of her garage as well. I must say that we felt emotional leaving here, Maureen this is a very small tribute to such a huge character keep doing what you do best, looking after folk. “Long may your lum rek”

Excellent place to stay & is very convenient for reaching a variety of places in the area. Very welcoming host, room was very well appointed & equipped with a good ensuite shower room. Breakfast was very good (to be honest, too much for me to get through), so you'd be set up very well for the day! There is parking available at the back of the property (with permission of the host) so that was a nice bonus to avoid parking directly on the street.

Nothing springs to mind, it's a great place to stay. The only thing I'd bring up, which is more an observation than a criticism, was that there was, from time to time, the smell of smoke (from cigarettes) which some visitors may find an issue.

From the moment we met our host Maureen we just new this stay was going to be special. Maureen was a fantastic host and was fun to share a story with. She catered for our every need, even calling a local restruant and making a booking for us. The bedroom and ensuite was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. We were here for 2 days and we wished we had booked longer. We would love to stay here again one day. Well done Maureen you our an incredable lady.

Comfortable stay with a friendly cat to boost. Immaculately clean, bring house slippers.

No storage for your ware, all drawers were full of linen. Quite a needy host, very good if you wish to chat until late, but not if you just want to crash and rest.

Maureen is a wonderful host, so welcoming and such an interesting lady. Thank you for welcoming us into your immaculate and lovely home. Cleo the cat was also a delight.
