Belle Vue Guesthouse

Marsel and Adriaan were very welcoming and friendly. The room was smaller than expected based of pictures but came with all the mentioned amenities, and the whole atmosphere was warm and cozy. The famous dam was right in front of the balcony. Aircon was cold and we slept very well both nights.

You have to really choose between a room with ensuite bathroom but not great view, or a room with great view but with a detached bathroom outside. I went with the great view because who wouldn't really, but this really was a decision that I had to ponder on for much longer than I wished.

Clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was very nice. Will definitely return.

The service received from Marsel was exceptional. She went out of her way to make us comfortable and make my husband's birthday special with cake, chocolates and a sign. She was always available whenever we needed her. The aircons were very effective.

The room didn't have a shower. It did have a hand shower in the bath. There was no view of the dam from our room. The rooms are very close to each other and you can hear the other guests in the house.

Will definitely stay again. Loved it.
