A lovely place to stay! Peaceful house with thoughtful shared spaces. Felipe and Didi are very attentive hosts. The breakfasts are amazing—they included an array of baked goods from a local bakery and Didi’s delicious homemade jams. Felipe and Didi put a lot of work into this B&B and it shows! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Pico.

Beautifully renovated house near Lajes do Pico. On the inside everything is modern. The room had a comfortable bed and bathroom, and the house has a good kitchen with everything you need, a dining room, and a living room where you can chill and spend some time. Games and music instruments were available. Also the house has several balconies and chairs in the garden to sit outside with good weather. The staff was very friendly, and came around every morning to prepare and serve breakfast. For dinner, several restaurants were close in the nearby little town of Lajes do Pico, and a supermarket was only a few minutes driving away.

There was no private parking, parking had to be done in front of the house. Also, the rooms are a bit noisy. You can hear guests in the other rooms really well.

Another property in the Azores that has had major investment. Four bedrooms, three upstairs, one (ours) down a few steps from the front door. Shared kitchen and shared lounge with other guests. Breakfast you do yourself and the host will explain this to you (and what there is) on arrival. Most breakfast items are in the shared fridge, plenty bread and a nice touch is how to toast the corn bread. Lovely honey and jam.

We did book the room with the external bathroom but did not realise it would be crossing the main corridor for all guests into the living area and kitchen. Robes are provided. We had one window onto the street level and one window onto the shared balcony so if privacy was wanted all curtains needed pulled. The main door was also close to our room so you hear all guests entering and leaving and moving up / down on the wooden stairs. Walls are thin so when guests prepare and eat breakfast at 6.30am the downstairs bedroom (ours) is very noisy.

The only negative thing is that it can be quite loud if your neighbours are....

Super well cleaned, the decoration is nice and cozy. The lounge/shared space has comfort and the view is perfect for anyone who needs to find a quiet place and work at distance or simply to relax and enjoy nature. The lady who receives the guests is delightful and helpful!

The acoustic isolation of the room could be better.
