What a beautiful and peaceful little place. We loved it! We only stay for one night as we attended a concert at Chelmsford Racecourse and we just had a great time here

"Lovely Setting"

Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, stunning views of the garden. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen area.

Spoke to the host through the doorbell link as they were out which wasn’t a problem at all as we were given the entry code and able to get into the annex. However, we were disappointed that the host didn’t make herself known to us on her return. We didn’t see anyone from our arrival to departure. We were woken by the thatchers working next door who were walking on the roof of the annex! Would have appreciated the host notifying us! Also disappointed with the ‘continental’ breakfast…sliced processed cheese, packet ham and packet pain y chocolate does not equate to a ‘continental’. Fresh products from the bakery with assorted cheese/meats from a deli does. Many condiment sachets were out of date as far back as 2022 and a yogurt drink in the fridge was out of date on the 20th. Such a shame that these few tweaks would have made Corner House faultless.

Spotless, modern and very cosy. Everything you need included and lots of great little touches to feel luxurious. Plentiful breakfast supplies and extras. Beautiful garden and hosts went above and beyond to help with check in query.
