As guesthouse owners, we approach every stay with both appreciation and a critical eye, knowing exactly where the pitfalls can be and what requires special effort from staff. In this case, every detail was superlative: the immaculate cleanliness, thoughtful interior design, comfort of the bed, and even the generous size of the TV screen. The service was consistently excellent, reflecting a level of care that is rare to find. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the warmth and wholehearted dedication of Irma, the owner and hostess. Her genuine hospitality shines through in every aspect, making our stay not only comfortable but truly memorable.

Everything was just perfect, exceeded my expectations in every way. Beautiful, clean, Aesthetically pleasing, very peaceful with the most beautiful view. Our host was amazing, she gave us the best service. I would highly recommend.

Hele grote gemeenschappelijke ruimte in verhouding tot onze slaapkamer . Eigenaresse kookte ‘s avonds waardoor wij in de stank van het koken zaten. ‘s Avonds (2e avond) enorm geluid in onze kamer. Eigenaresse was niet te bereiken. Ander “noodnummer “ gebeld. Duurde halfuur voor dat er iemand kwam. In de tussentijd zelf opgelost door pomp zwembad uit te zetten. Waterdruk paar keer weg waardoor wc en douche niet gebruikt konden worden. Kamers véél te licht, te weinig verduistering waardoor wij 5 uur ‘s morgens al wakker waren. Kortom, waardeloos verblijf!!

Das gesamte Haus ist sehr großzügig und schön eingerichtet; es gibt insgesamt nur sechs Zimmer und einen riesigen Bereich zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung mit einer tollen Terrasse mit Blick auf den Ozean. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls toll einrichtet, und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Irma ist sehr nett und hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und alles erklärt. Melkbos selbst ist ein herrlich ruhiger Ort mit einem tollen Strand und tollen Blick auf den Tafelberg.

Unsere Zimmer (wir sind einmal im Haus umgezogen, weil wir zwei verschiedene Buchungen hatten) hatten keine Tür oder sonstige Abtrennung zur Toilette; das fanden wir etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Impeccable and so clean you couldn’t wish for more. The staff and host were exceptional and the property is 5 stars minimum. We will definitely return to this property in the future.

Nothing to dislike

Aesthetically pleasing and modern. Spacious living areas. Nourishing breakfast. lives comfortably in bad weather. safe location and close to the beach.

Suggest privacy enhancement to esuite bathroom. The clear glass panel next to the toilet can be equipped with a frosted film. Suggest comfortable bedroom suite chair
