St Katharine's House

Sarah was a delightful hostess who spent time talking to us about all manner of things. St Catherine’s was easy to locate and had free parking. We liked the view of the bay out of the large bedroom window. My cooked breakfast after juice, fresh fruit and cereal was delicious. Two crepes and loads of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries dusted with icing sugar. My husband’s salmon and poached eggs, which he exclaimed were the yellowist he had seen for years, was excellent too.

A longer stay but it wasn’t possible😡

The accommodation was beautiful. Homely and welcoming. The room was gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. The host, Sarah was very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Overall... an outstanding stay.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Beautiful fire place that was lit with coal that made you feel cosy and warm. Beautiful spacious rooms.

The property is welcoming, friendly and immaculate throughout. My bedroom was fantastic. Spacious, with all amenities and a really comfortable bed. The breakfasts are incredible. Home cooked and everything done just as you like it.

From the moment we arrived it felt like being at home :) Sarah’s a lovely lady, Richard very friendly too, the welcome was genuine and with much warmth. There was even a fire in the downstairs hall, a lovely touch. We sat on the veranda with a cup of tea (fresh milk!!) and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. The house is beautiful, Arts and Crafts period ? Our room was beautiful, the bed so comfy, my partner loved the bath!! Added bonus of the two doggies who we loved xx Dinner at Martha’s Vineyard down in town was lovely, especially the Mandarin sorbet from local company Scoop, if only it travelled :(sadly we only realised upon return there was 10% discount). I just wish it wasn’t for sale, and we didn’t live so far away, as we’d stay again in a heartbeat xx

Super zuvorkommende Gastgeber , alles sehr sauber , komfortabel , sehr gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst , würde sofort wieder kommen
