Victoria's Bed & Breakfast

At first Victoria's Bed & Breakfast felt like visiting family... Victoria and Johnny take about their clients as family members. - it starts already before arriving, I was contacted and was helped to get the free QR-code (to visit the island) because already 'friendly' people would do this too ... for money (300 pesos) - taxi was already arranged to pick us up! - we received an upgrade from the room... a bigger one than booked. - breakfast was fresh prepared ... just ask and it was prepared. - if a taxi was needed ... it was arranged - tips for what to do and what to visit, where to eat ... and where not!! - and the hiking through the rainforrest, absolute loved it.. thnx Victoria!! For me it felt like a home far away from home (others already said this too, but it is true), for me it was the perfect stay during my stay at Puerto Galera.

Does it mean that everything is perfect... no just like home not everthing is 100% perfect... there is always something to wish for. For me a bit more softer bed (but maybe that is just my personal taste) or a little bigger bathroom would be nice.

Victoria and Johnny are wonderful hosts and made our stay a memorable experience. Victoria even took my wife on a early morning hike up the nearby mountain featuring waterfalls and streams. This she said was the highlight of her stay. Johnny makes traditional Swedish meatballs, top class cheeseburgers and omelettes.. He also rigged up standby WiFi when the local server failed. We will be back for sure.

Victoria and every one at the Bed and Breakfast are making everything they can to make you feel welcome and at home. The B&B is clean and very comfortable. Moreover it is just minutes from the beach or the main road allowing anyone to enjoy pretty much everything there is to do nearby but avoiding the crowds and noise of the beachside resorts. This will remain one of my best travel experiences!

It was not the case as we were there, but I suspect it could potentially be a bit noisy whenever there is an event happening in the common areas. Even though, this might not be the noisiest place ever and all the positive aspects of the b&b make up for it anyway.

Exceptional stay at this property. If you’re looking to stay at a property that’s close enough to White Beach (5 minutes walk) and yet far enough to enjoy a quiet and relaxing ambiance, then this property is for you. The attention to detail by Victoria and her staff was superb. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome as if we’re part of their family. They also assisted us with any special requests. We highly recommend this property for all of your short or long terms stays at Puerto Galera.
