Nice, small Hostal at the end of Puerto Lopez. Always hear the waves when you wake up. Hosts are very sweet and can help you with anything.

Very friendly staff that do their best to make your stay nice. We asked for breakfast, and it was on time was very good. It is like you are staying in one big tree house. From the rooms you can see the sea and hear the waves. No sleep tune necessary!

Not all windows had (appropriate) curtains. It can be a bit noisy if you have neighbours. The street dogs can be really annoying during the night.

The room in wood/bamboo is very nice. You can be awaken by the sound of waves as well. Hamocks are available. The host family is very gentle and ready to make your stay perfect.

The best thing about Monte Libano hostel is to the location: It is located to the left side of the main city center. The accomodation has the view facing sea front(this part of the town has more nature and less noise). From our room we could hear waves and look at the sea. Moreover it is five minutes from the fish markets and the small comedores. The best place to have a local, authentic and tasty breakfast, to buy fish from the fisher men or to buy fresh tortillas. The owners of the hostal were friendly! We very much appreciated the shared kitchen. We have used it to prepare the fish we bought from the market.

The only drawback was the cleanliness. Our bedroom was fine. But the common bathroom was dirty. They told me that I should tell should when a room has to be cleaned. I would expect that common area are daily cleaned.
