Loved the decor, loved the breakfast, perfect spot for exploring the surrounding area,

Only a small snag but my partner struggled parking his car in the available car space

Delightful stay with Karen she was ( the hostess with the mostest ) And absolutely beautiful home and truly exceptional service. Thornton le Dale is a lovely place.

"If you want to stay in a Yorkshire village this is the place to be"

Karen was a wonderful host. The cottage is so quirky with an eclectic mix of furnishings etc. Lovely touch of chocolate biscuits supplied with the tea and coffee making facilities. In addition a small decanter of port and glasses in the private lounge - fantastic! A great breakfast was supplied (but not a fry-up!) not that we wanted one, a fry-up that is. Great location, just minutes from the village centre

We cannot think of anything that needs improving

Very good location. Lovely place to stay & the hosts Karen & stephen are very friendly & make you feel really welcome. The rooms are beautiful, the treats left - chocolate & port was a lovely surprise & the breakfast was really good.

Beautiful setting. Karen and Steven were so lovely and made us feel at home. Interior so lovely and the bed so comfortable. The cats were an added bonus and so friendly. Breakfast was lovely too with fresh fruit and variety of home made conserves.

Very warm but then the weather is exceptionally hot. Bring a fan which I did.

The Cottage was set in an excellent location right in the heart of Thornton Le Dale. It was exceptionally clean and had a cozy feel to it. The Host was very lovely and helpful and made us feel really welcome

Parking at times was a bit tight but not insurmountable

"Idealic visit"

Lovely cottage in a picturesque village..Karen went far beyond our expectations with sugestions of visits locally, friendly welcome and lots of gestures of genuine warmth...and a total trust and splendid accomodation and substantial breakfast would not hesitate to recomend...or visit again..

Leaving at end of stay !!
