New Vilard

Jabea jatorra, eskuzabala eta laguntzeko prest. Kokapenaren aldetik, erdialdean dago, oinez afaltzera joan ginen. Safaria berak antolatu zigun eta goiz goizetik martzan geundenez eramateko gosaria jarri zigun. Espektatiba guztiak gainditu zituen, erabat gomendagarria!

Komunean argi gutxi eta oheak zarata asko sartzen zuen.

Todo. El desayuno fue espectacular, sin duda uno de los mejores (o el mejor) que he probado en todo mi viaje por Sri Lanka. La atención del personal y del dueño fue impecable desde el primer momento, siempre amables, atentos y con muchísimos detalles. La limpieza de las instalaciones y la comodidad de la habitación superaron nuestras expectativas. Nos ayudaron con recomendaciones locales, organizaron el tuktuk para la estación, ¡y hasta nos dejaron elegir habitación y quedarnos más tiempo en la piscina! Lo único que lamento fue no haber podido quedarme más tiempo. Realmente lo disfrutamos tanto que nos quedamos con ganas de unos días más.

La habitación era grande y agradable. Calidad precio esta muy bien

Mejoraría con unas sábanas nuevas y algo más de limpieza, y la comunicación con los huéspedes es un poco complicada por el inglés

Wir haben das New Vilard nur für eine Nacht vor unserer Safari in Yala gebucht und hatten eigentlich keine großen Erwartungen. Doch wir wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir direkt mit einer frischen Kokosnuss und Rambodan aus dem Garten begrüßt, der übrigens wunderschön war und in dem wir gerne noch etwas länger Zeit verbracht hätten. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Mit Klimaanlage und Moskitonetz konnten wir bei angenehmer Stille so gut schlafen wie selten in Sri Lanka. Und als wir am nächsten Morgen schon sehr früh morgens zu unserer Safari aufbrachen, war der Inhaber so lieb uns eine Frühstücks-Box zum Mitnehmen vorzubereiten

Nice family that run it,they make you feel at home with tea on arrival and we were also given a fresh coconut! We booked our safari through them which was very convenient and also our taxi to the next location.

The bathroom was quite dark and the wifi wasn’t very good.

Super nice place, the owners are super sweet :) We spent only one night to go to Yala, but we really enjoyed our stay here. The place is cozy and clean, in a good position to start the safari the next day.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The host was super friendly and helped me set up a safari, which was great. He also made sure I got breakfast both days, even though I had to head out really early, and gave me some nice tips for places to eat nearby. The room was comfy and had AC and a mosquito net, which was all I needed. There were a few insects now and then, but nothing that bothered me. Overall, a chill and easy place to stay—I'd definitely recommend it.

Fantastic value for money - the included breakfast was excellent. Aircon working great. Lovely hosts/family. They booked our Yala Safari for us and arranged transportation. Perfect stop for us as a base to visit Yala NP. They also kindly offered to cook us dinner which was delicious.
