This is a very special place. The night I stayed there was a Fado show with a big group of people, but the manager proposed me to stay and have dinner on site. The menu was delicious and copious. Employees are very welcoming although they don't speak much English.

Breakfast is low standard.

Very friendly staff. A little hard to communicate because we had no Portuguese and they had limited English but we managed. They booked us into an excellent restaurant in the village which was a wonderful experience. Breakfast was more substantial than many of the continental breakfasts we've had in other places.

The bed was a little hard for me. Some long life milk to go with the provided coffee would have been appreciated.
