The location of the property is very good, close to all the main tourist attractions in Stone Town and within walking distance. The Wi-Fi works well. However, the window in our room was broken, which allowed mosquitoes to enter. Apart from that issue, everything else was okay.

⭐ 1/10 – Total Scam, Do NOT Book This Place This hotel is a complete scam. The pictures advertised are 100% fake and misleading. What you see online is NOTHING like what you get in reality. None of the air conditioners were working, washroom are dirtiest i have ever seen making the rooms unbearable. The entire place smells of mold and fungus, with visible dampness everywhere extremely unhealthy and unacceptable. This is not just poor maintenance, it’s negligence. When we realized the condition of the hotel and asked to cancel, the owner refused to communicate, stopped answering calls, and kept our money without any explanation or refund. Completely unprofessional and dishonest behavior. I feel deeply cheated and angry. This experience ruined our plans and caused unnecessary stress. ⚠️ Avoid this hotel at all costs. Do not trust the photos, do not trust the promises. There are far better and more honest options elsewhere.

Der Herr am Empfang war sehr freundlich und hat uns auch einen sehr guten Tourguide vermittelt.

Schon beim Betreten des Hauses habe ich einen Geruch von Schimmel wahrgenommen. Der Stromausfall hat den Eindruck nicht gerade verbessert. Unser Zimmer befand sich im ersten Stock. Im ersten Stock war der Schimmelgeruch penetrant. Im Zimmer war alles schmuddelig, an den Wänden blätterte der Verputz ab und die Bettlaken hatten Löcher. Handtücher Fehlanzeige. Ich habe dann sofort das Fenster geöffnet und durchgelüftet, damit wenigsten der Schimmelgeruch verschwand. Wir hatten für drei Tage gebucht, wir haben aber am nächsten Tag das Hotel fluchtartig verlassen und uns an einer bessere Adresse einquartiert.
