Amazing beachfront setting

Moved to larger room when we arrived as we had misunderstood the booking and expected to be on the beach.

Not on the beach but other rooms and other rooms were on a private beach very close by.

The accommodation is in a pleasant location and when the garden it fully developed it will be lovely. There is a lovely courtyard for breakfast. Lovely soft pillows and comfortable bed

When we arrived we were initially given a room across the road in the dunes. This may be lovely if you wanted to be on the beach but the quality of the room was not the same as in the farmhouse but the manager kindly relocated us

The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The house (part of our booking) was absolutely lovely! It was well decorated and the amenities were great! It was also very spacious. In general, we really liked the look and feel of the place. The lady as reception was a complete delight! She was kind, friendly and very helpful 😊

The size of the rooms was too varied. One of the rooms was really small and it was difficult to move around it with luggage which made things a bit uncomfortable. The process of getting breakfast was not easy so we ended up leaving without eating. Once we were seated, it took forever for our orders to be taken. One of the ladies wasn't very friendly and insisted on speaking Afrikaans, even though we clearly were not understanding her and got frustrated that we could not understand.

The food tasted great, it could be better organised but great tasting

There was lack of communication from the hosts in terms of the issues raised. I believe there was also a small language barrier with the kitchen staff leading to some misunderstandings and our orders were not taken correctly
