Logement un peu vieillot

This is a small B&B in a house on a small housing estate; the rooms (there’re only three, I think) are functional and clean with a separate small, but private, bathroom. The lady of the house does everything to make you feel welcome and, despite a lack of English (and my lack of Italian) communication is not a problem. There is a free parking space and the wifi worked very well. Breakfast was served in the garden and was sufficient. Il Pescatore is a 30 minute drive from Livorno port so, if you have arrived back on a ferry in the late afternoon, it makes a good stopover before a long drive the next day. Finally, it is less than ten minutes to walk to the seafront at Marina di Pisa, which is well worth a visit for its excellent seafront and range of bars and restaurants. I can recommend Zenit Cafe on the seafront for an artisanal beer, pizza and superb service. I also recommend Il Pescatore as value for money for a stopover.

The place has all you need for a good stay. Very close to bus, beach, promenade. Good breakfast

We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our time. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay — nothing to complain about. While we didn’t spend much time indoors, as we were out sightseeing in Pisa, sunbathing and swimming at the local beach, walking along the promenade in the evenings, and enjoying delicious local food and gelato, it was always nice to return to such a peaceful place. We stayed in two separate bedrooms on the top floor — one overlooking the lovely garden, and the other with a small balcony facing the street. Both rooms were very quiet and equipped with air conditioning. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean, with a private bathroom located on the same floor. The location is great, with a bus stop nearby for easy access to Pisa, a food store just around the corner, and plenty of nice restaurants and the sea promenade within walking distance. Breakfast was served each morning in the beautiful garden and was a real highlight — offering a generous variety of fresh, local food. Coffee was also available at any time, which was a lovely touch. The host was very kind and welcoming, making us feel truly at home. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a quiet, convenient location. Highly recommended!

Very nice welcome of the local guardian. Good tea, coffee, fridge in the kitchen (no cooking). Clean place well kept.

Fairly high price for just basic facilities. A little older house but generally well kept.

Bathroom was separate from the room down the corridor opposite the communal kitchen !! Walk from bathroom to room was met by other renters . Sheared at night what we n needed the loo! Food and drink can be kept in fridge with name label . One of the residents took my alcoholic beverages !!!!!

The rooms are ok.

We can't use the kitchen at all, even if we wanted to use the kitchen table, the owner put us to use some plastic sheets not to dirty the table cloth. The furniture is old, the bathroom needs renovations. Low pressure of water. We are traveling with our two kids so the breakfast is very important. There was no fruit or vegetable, only bad quality sweets from the market. Bad experience. We refused the breakfast.
