Trulli del Carmine

We spent four wonderful days of our honeymoon at Trulli del Carmine. It came highly recommended by good friends, yet our experience at this special place exceeded all our expectations! Lennie and Marina are the perfect hosts. The trulli accommodation is unique, beautifully decorated and in a serene location only 2km from vibrant Martina Franca. The breakfasts, freshly prepared by Marina each morning, were phenomenal. Lennie was a wealth of knowledge and gave us wonderful recommendations on places to eat/sights to see/routes to drive - we had a much more authentic Puglian experience as a result. We can’t wait to return again soon!

Pleasant rural setting setting, charming rooms with unusual sophisticated but regional decor. The breakfasts were scrumptious. Leonardo the owner was very helpful in planing our itinerary each day.

possibly the only weakness was the wifi connections, but they would be difficult in any property with thick stone walls.

Large pool surrounded by trees, very friendly hosts, beautiful trulli, good breakfast, and a very quiet location with only a few guests at any time.

The wifi is only available in the breakfast room. No wifi at all inside the rooms despite the website stating "WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge". Combined with the lack of mobile signal in the trulli this made for a very analog holiday (which is ok, but it would have been nice to know in advance). Our bedroom was quite small and the A/C was placed right on top of the bed, so it's not possible to turn it on while sleeping. We were lucky to find quite cool days, but we got worried when we initially saw it. Carpets in the bedroom are dirty and the towels are rather old and, once wet, a bit smelly. All things considered, this is a good place, but we were hoping for something better, given the price range and the comparable existing alternatives in the area.

Absolutely beautiful B&B with the most incredible hosts in Lennie & Nina. They welcomed us with open arms, provided such a great breakfast every morning & gave us so many tips & recommendations for incredible beaches, restaurants, bars etc in the area. It felt like we were getting the proper Italian experience while on holiday & made great friends in them too! Staying in a Trulli was a great experience, the pool was beautiful & all of the facilities were amazing.
