"Perfect stay in Merthyr"

Superb stay, very warm welcome, cannot do enough for guests.Great nights sleep, suspect walking back up the hill from the Red Lion helped. This place is a little gem.

Nothing absolutely perfect

"Perfect one-nighter"

9.0

Perfect for me. Ideally situated and, being up the hill, lovely views. On arrival, I was promptly greeted by Lynne (who's an absolute diamond), and made to feel very welcome. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed (including, and perhaps most importantly, fresh filter coffee). Plenty of takeaways to choose from. I had a delicious curry from Red Spice, which Lynne recommended and so would I. I had a lovely night's sleep and would definitely come again. Diolch yn fawr iawn Lynne!

Not an issue for me, but if you're not fit you'd definitely have to drive everywhere as the hill is a long and steep walk.
