23 Ambleside Retreat

The owner was welcoming and pleasant.The rooms had everything we needed.

When we extended our stay she suggested we do a direct EFT or pay cash but her speed point wasn't working so we paid on the app. The funds were delayed and she kept sending messages during working hours that the money hadn't gone through. I was stressing throughout....

I did not like anything

The fact that you stay in the same house with the landlord. You can’t be free because she is also around with her dogs and her cats climbing on the kitchen counter, sharing the same fridge with the owner.

The staff is friendly.

Pets. Especially the cat. I’m scared of cats. I wish it was mentioned before I made a booking.

Check in, waited almost 30 minutes at the gate

Very quiet place, good for rest jst what we were looking for. The place is clean and wifi works good. The owner is very friendly though we ddnt meet.

We thought they had breakfast but not. So it was difficult for us but we made a plan
