Siedlisko Wigry

Rodzinna atmosfera, przekochani wlasciciele, pyszne jedzenie, otwartość do zwierzaków domowych (byliśmy z pieskiem średniej rasy). Wspaniałe zielone tereny wokół, bociany, hodowla konika polskiego, dostęp do jeziora Wigry. Nie zapomnę tego pobytu, jak dla mnie najlepszy nocleg jaki do tej pory zarezerwowałam w Polsce. Podlasie jest wspaniałe ❤️

Wszystko było wspaniałe

Very calm place in nice surroundings, you can take good walks or rides by bike. Bikes and canoes are for gratis (or included in the cost), so you can use them as much as you can. The same with coffee and tea all day long. Perfect thing is "trust buffet". A lot of things are based on sustainability. Breakfast is perfect, besides cold local meal they offer several hot dishes at your request. For a dinner you can choose from several versions, and "book" it in advance, so kitchen will prepare it for you at your time. Everything is fine and rational. But the main thing is joyfulness of all the staff, of Sebastian and his father (Padre), of the communication with them. They enjoy what they do and made it not a business but a style of life.

Poor sound isolation in the rooms, so it depends on guests. We were lucky to have calm neighbors, I hope, it goes with other guests too. Other thing is not a minus, but to know it: Wigry lake is overgrown lake, so there are very few small beaches in all the area. So most of accesses to the lake are wooden bridges. Just to keep in mind.

Wifi was not so good.

The place is exceptional, everything is perfect. The hosts are wonderful, friendly, helpful, interesting and just plain lovely people. The building and surrounds are perfect in every detail, right down to the live stork nest cam. The choice of meals each night is small but the selection caters for most tastes. The upside of a small menu is quality, the food is some of the best I have ever tasted, anywhere in the world. The ingredients are fresh, local and cooked to absolute perfection! The location is also perfect for access to lots of activities and offered kayaks and bikes for guests to use.

I like everything.Is a wonderful place to relax!

The grounds are amazing, very well kept, with nice trails by the lake in the tall grass. The staff is super friendly. We were there off season, so it was very quiet and empty. The bikes are in excellent condition, and there are nice routes around the area.

Some minor things. A light flickering above the door outside (even when turned off). Lunch or dinner you had to order in advance on the day (maybe because we were there off season), which was a minor inconvenience for us (we don't plan that far ahead ;) ).

Perfect place, amazing days with family, fishing was very successful. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very original and artistic interior. Jolanta with family
