Well positioned with several great restaurants close by and bike and motorcycle rentals. The staff and owner, Thomas, were great and super helpful. The property itself was wonderful! Clean, tranquil and had a great vibe. I highly recommend the Sunday morning market that happens right out the front for a dive into Indonesian culture! We will definitely be back for a longer stay next year.

This was our favourite stay in Indonesia, a beautiful setting only a short walk to the beach with restaurants nearby. Thomas was a very welcoming host and the staff were so kind and friendly and made us a delicious breakfast each morning. Our room was large and comfortable with a spacious bathroom and excellent shower and aircon. There is also a lovely swimming pool and two resident cats! We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Warm and welcoming. Large room with huge bathroom. Loved the choice of indoor and outdoor showers. Comfy bed. The owner is a decent chap who goes out of his way for his guests. Great value for money in beautiful Selong Belanak.

Extra pillows would be good (although I'm sure if I asked, they'd have been provided - so that's on me). Road a little noisy, earplugs solved this.

Idyllic hotel with beautiful shady gardens, where delicious breakfast is served every morning. Delightful place, beautiful rooms, very helpful owner.

Leaving was very tough!

Beautiful pool and garden. Large room, nice looking bed, large bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Nice, covered patio area. Friendly staff.

Bed looked nice, but was only so so in terms of comfort. AC worked....but was insufficient for a room of this size. room never got below 23 degrees. Too many mosquitos. Not tons....but more than I would have expected with the doors shut and numerous mosquito hunting expeditions. Our biggest issue was that we told them we wanted to book for two nights. That wasn't possible through Booking, but they told us No problem. When we checked in, they again said no problem. At the end of our first night they again said no problem. We then woke up the next date (late, thinking we had all day) to learn they had never blocked our room out and had sold it to someone else. That sucked. it disrupted our morning. It caused us to waste an hour finding a new place and having to move. That caused us to miss out on surfing, which was the whole reason we came here. I'm sure the property will reply that they "didn't know we wanted a 2nd night" or that we were "bargaining". neither statement is true. We were clear from the moment we booked that we wanted 2 nights. We didn't attempt to bargain on price. The only question was whether we would pay them directly or through Booking. They told us it would be cheaper to pay directly so that was our plan. The next morning, however, they wanted a price that was even higher than we had paid through booking....and forget that by paying directly they would be avoiding the 15% commission to Booking. So...now we are staying 3 doors down at a place that is not 100% the same, but fairly close...and we're paying half as much. All the same, I am still unhappy with how things went down because it ruined a whole day of surfing - the ONE reason we came here, something my wife has been dreaming about for 10 years.

Fantastic place, 100% holiday feeling! Very new, clean, charming, green, delicious breakfast, very nice staff, big pool, good restaurants around (+delivery), - definitely recommend staying here :)
