Steve's Place B&B

The room was good and clean and plenty big enough. Steve was very pleasant and did all he could to make us comfortable

The breakfast was a disappointment and to my mind overpriced. It was too oily for me, would have been better if grilled rather than fried. Also, if all rooms were full parking could be a bit of a nightmare

It was well located for what I did. But for others this may be a bit remote.

The room was quite small, and packed with two single beds; barely any space to move. I was on my own, so it was bearable -- just. Similarly, the bathroom was tiny, with the sink on top of the toilet (literally; the sink was the top part of the flush tank of the toilet). The door and walls are rather thin, so you get a bit of noise from the other rooms. It was relatively cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. The property is essentially someone's home, who lets some of his rooms while still living in the property. If you prefer a bit of privacy and quiet, this may not be for you.

Great customer service and support which made me feel home away from home. Absolutely fantastic people skills!

Steves place is cozy and comfortable! Steve is very easy going and a fantastic host. I stayed because I was visiting Stoney Cove which is right next door. It was the right decision! Steve also makes a great breakfast, and was kind enough to drop me back to the airport. All in all, an amazing stay at an amazing place, thanks Steve!

Great location for us (travelling to Castle Donington), easy to find, very clean and comfortable, and Steve was very helpful giving us local advice and booking us into a nearby restaurant that he had recommended. And it was a very good restaurant!

We arrived early, but unsuccessfully tried to contact him for possible early (45mins) entry. Apart from that - everything went as smooth as clockwork, and Steve is a very good host.

Steve was a friendly and helpful host when looking at places for an evening meal and local walks. Clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was good: made to order.
