Hazler Lodge guest house

It was cozy and in a great quiet location. It had all the facilities we required.

We could hear the people above walking on the floorboards as they creak very loudly.

The bed was very comfortable

it was so very cold when we arrived! Central heating not working just some heaters Not good for folk with mobility issues at all No spare plug sockets

Nothing it was a lovely stay

Beautifully located, easy directions, friendly helpful host. There were additional extra little touches such as sunglasses and raincoats to borrow plus a lovely hamper breakfast, fresh coffee , perfume and all sorts of toiletries

The place was a little cold as the central heating wasn’t on and the water ran cold after one bath but electric blankets (which were wonderful) and electric radiators were provided .

Easy to get to and access. Lots of nice touches , extras . We did meet the host and she was very friendly and concerned that all was to our liking. Excellent wifi and electronic charging.

As there were no cooking facilities apart from a microwave, but there was a microwave egg poacher, so maybe include some eggs for breakfast . Just as a note for others with some physical limitations like us, the front entrance has a steep step to get in and out, and the bath /shower is deep. A grab rail would help.

Clean, spacious and nice scenic location.

The central heating was not on so the accommodation was cold.. We were given electric heaters but they didn’t warm the property very quickly or enough.
