"A comfortable stay at an ancient inn in the heart of the village"

A generous and well prepared breakfast, and efficiency of staff. A comfortable double aspect room, with period features including a disused fireplace, and views across the village. Compete privacy and security of rooms from the working pub, and no sounds spreading from it.

As a genuine old inn, a slight irritation of the sound of creaking floorboards from adjoining room - no problem overnight when everyone had settled!

The location opposite Stretton Hall was fantastic for me in visiting my family. Lauren and the staff were all kind and welcoming, breakfast was plentiful and dinners tasty, fresh and hot. My room and en suite was sparkling clean and top ups of tea, coffee and biscuits were welcome!
