Trattandosi di un B&B, a mio avviso la colazione avrebbe dovuto essere compresa nel prezzo.

Everything was just the way we expected, very good communication with the owner, the place is beautiful and very clean - they cleaned our room daily during our stay, and we had a lovely balcony too. The location is perfect as a base from which we drove every day to a different attraction (Matera, Alberobello, Polignano, Monopol)i, and the town itself is pretty charming.

Rooms and facility were very clean. We had a nice "bonus" area which helped as the rooms are small.

When we arrived, the manager didn't speak English and acted like we were unexpected even though we had reservations. We were lucky we caught her as she left the premises shortly after we checked in. With the help of a guest? we were able to finally get settled in. We were under the impression and the manager indicated that we had a breakfast (it is a bed & breakfast after all). The manager showed up the next morning and was upset that we were in the breakfast room. She never showed up the following day and the room was locked. All the food was stale. The AC in our room never worked. The owner contacted me and told me that you have to pay extra for breakfast and it is in a different building a block or two away. She also told me it was too early in the season for the AC to be on (we had to open windows to try and stay cool and then that exposed us to all the street noises). She also told me she was ill and had someone covering for her.
