Id-Dwejra, Country Residence

Mark and Flavia have created an oasis of calm in the countryside of Malta. Their attention to detail makes for a very comfortable stay. A lot of thought and hard work has gone into making the pool and gardens a very relaxing place to spend some time. The accommodation consists of a large bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a lounge with direct access to the garden. You will be the only guests. Mark serves a great breakfast in the garden and both he and Flavia couldn’t be more helpful. Thoroughly recommend Il-Dwejra if you are looking for peace and quiet.

I would put the small fridge in the lounge not the bedroom so it doesn’t wake guests up at night.

Mark and Flavia are the best hosts, a truly beautiful property and very helpful attentive hosts.

Everything was perfect. Flavia and Mark made us so welcome from the moment we arrived. The studio was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The garden was beautiful and the pool luxurious. Mark provided us with so much local information and recommendations. Breakfast on the patio each morning was delightful.

When I first saw the rating of this property, I thought it might be a scam - but it definitely isn't. Mark is the nicest host I've ever had. We got a warm welcome when we arrived, fantastic recommendations for our stay, and quick help whenever we had questions. Mark made sure we had everything we needed, including early morning coffees right after we woke up, personalised breakfasts anytime we wanted, and the kindness we really appreciated during our stay. Simply put, this was the best stay we've ever had. We’re definitely coming back soon!

Mark and Flavia are very kind persons, attentive to our needs (such as gluten free breakfast), willing to make our journey the most pleasant ! The place was beautiful, and we had the surprise to discover that they have only 1 lodging, so the cocooning environment was only for us! Thank you!

We love this place. Flavia and Mark are perfect hosts. They were always helpful and so nice. The country residence is a real paradise in the countryside. It's quiet, everything is always clean, the pool and garden area are perfect for relaxing after exploring this beautiful Island. Rent a car and then you will have the best vacation on Malta, we will definetly come back.

I liked everything. Highlights: the setting and nice view; the garden area with pool, trees, shrubs and flowers; the hosts, Mark and Flavia, were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room suite was spacious, comfortable and very appealing.
