Mount Edgecombe Estate Lodge

Location overlooking the 9th hole is great.

It’s a complete pain to get in and out of the lodge via the club property because you need to be issued an entry and exit code for each entry and exit and you need to present your drivers license each time. If you’re in and out a lot, it’s time consuming, frustrating and unnecessary. There should be a security card, thumb print or code issued for the duration of your stay. The lodge has huge potential but needs a cost of paint, new furnishings and upgraded rooms. Brightly colored antique cupboards and dressers whose drawers and doors don’t close properly need to be ditched. It may have been fashionable 30 years ago, but it doesn’t work today. The air conditioner did not work and the condensate pump kept running even when the AC unit was switched off. Had to disconnect the pump to stop the buzzing/humming noise.

Would be nice to have small fridge in room
