"Very well worth the money."

The breakfast was exceptional, with a nice variety and everything was fresh. The location was brilliant and very relaxing and the access to major shops and highways is fantastic, and the ability to be able to walk around the golf course is so lekker.

Perfect location, clean rooms and relaxed. Close to club house - brilliant and we don’t even play golf. Very secure and lovely setting. Will be coming back again 👍

Only suggestion would be for an honesty bar so I could have a beer on the veranda whilst the women were getting ready. Apart from that it was fantastic

"Mount Edgecombe Golf Estate"

The location is excellent. Secure estate. It is also close to all key amenities in Umhlanga - a 15 min drive to Umhlanga and 30 minutes to Durban CBD- for both business and leisure travels.

The convoluted access system where you need to get daily codes from the landlord to show at the gate for exit and entrances to the estate. It feels like one is clocking in and clocking out all the time. External visitors are not allowed into the estate.This we found out when requesting additional codes for our visitors. I get it, security is a selling point in South Africa, but what we experienced was a tad over the top. Wonderful estate all the same.

The staff was so friendly, I loved their warm welcome

A bit of the dust in our room but I understand since we checked in earlier than the normal time, that might be the cause. Thank you for allowing us in earlier than the check-in time, appreciated

"Convenient and splendid area."

i really like the location and the area and i can play golf and jog etc.

I usually go there for the last 4-5 years. i do think more care can be taken to upkeep the property. The pool was not clean and hence lead to mosquitos i think - they are renovating next door? and i hope this can be kept personal but the host is a bit like I feel I am in his way.... he is there for years - and dont want to see him go as he does communicate very well on whats up so maybe just a course in personal communication/ .... also would be nice if maybe there is an honesty bar/
