Great location. Comfortable bed. Lovely hosts. Home made baking was a nice touch. Marmalade was great! Extra fruit water & granola was yummy.

Just the spa pool needed a clean - that's the only thing I can fault on this visit otherwise everything else was exceptional.

We had a warm welcome with guidance to park safely off the street. After a walk around the garden we enjoyed a coffee with delicious home made cookies. We had plenty of space as we could use an extra bedroom for any extra luggage. We were able to enjoy a walk up to the top of Mount Maunganui (Mauao) easily from the hotel. After a delicious breakfast the owners gave us local information about parts of NZ we weren't aware of so that was very valuable.
