Good Flexible Accomodative

The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Jamie was AWESOME host she went out her way to accommodate us comfortably. Upon arrival she offered us guest house instead of 1 room accomdation at no extra cost she also offered cleaning service at no extra charge...Princess and Florence gave us warm welcome not only was service great but they provided delicious breakfast. Tea, coffee,hot chocolate, milo freely available throughout the day. Absolute serenity and beauty...definitely visiting again.

On arrival at the property I was buzzed in but once inside there was nobody to greet me. I followed the sign to "reception", rang the bell, knocked on the door and called out but got no response. I tried making contact via the app, but still no luck. After about 15 to 20 minutes a young man came out of a room at the back of the house, showed me to a room. The room I booked was advertised as having a shower but the room I was shown, had only a bath. I mentioned this to the man, but he said I should wait for the lady in charge to return. I decided to find alternative accommodation and left the property, using the room's remote for the gate. After arranging accommodation elsewhere, I returned the remote and was reminded I owed a balance. I paid in full for the 6 nights booked. No offer for a reduction or refund - I understand the cancellation policy but I expect someone to be available to greet guests on arrival especially as I had given an ETA when leaving the airport. I do not feel the 4 quality rating on Booking.com is accurate and neither are the photographs on the site.

Lovely gardens, views and farmlands. Room was well appointed with great attention to detail and breakfast was outstanding.

Very safe, very tranquil, beautiful view and peaceful! We loved every moment of it and the breakfast WOW WOW WOW so yummy definitely worth booking the breakfast. The welcome "touch" on arrival - fresh flowers on the table, biscuits and chocolates to welcome us all really really amazing. Room was perfect and clean with an amazing fireplace that heated like you cannot believe - wood & fire lighters supplied by Little Milton was lovely and dry and burnt beautifully - thank you! Special heater light in the bathroom and a heated toweling rail was also a lovely luxury especially after the snow and chill in the air. Spacious shower was pleasant to use. We had a little Weber braai that worked perfectly on our own little verandah. Location is very close to Nottingham Road and easy access to the highway as well. Really a home away from home - your hospitality was wonderful we were treated like family! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!

Perhaps just a dish to use when having a braai to put the meat in. That is the only thing we missed.

Friendly host and staff. Clean and comfortable. Although we booked a single room, Heather accommodated us in a cottage. Delicious breakfast and the best scones! Great views. Thank you. We will definitely be back!
