Francois and Mari are amazing people, they cannot do enough for you, the breakfast is lovely, too much really 😀 the room is a good size and very clean, beautiful views from the breakfast/chill out area. We loved our stay and will definitely revisit.

We were in the green room and it was very comfortable. The hosts were lovely and obviously take great pride in what they do. The breakfasts were generous and very good. Location was excellent with many restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

FranMAREL is in a quiet part of town, easily and safely walkable to lots of restaurants . Francoise and Marinda are perfect hosts. You feel as though the place is yours but they are there if you need them, from dinner reservations to the most amazing breakfast.

Francois and Marinda were amazing hosts, welcoming us and offering advice and guidance on local beaches, restaurants etc. Property was very well located for Main St and would recommend car or Uber to beach, as distance is not great but hills are steep. Property was safe, clean, with a choice of breakfast offerings, the ‘Plankie’ was great ! Would happily return !

This is the 6th time I have stayed here and the standards are excellent, the owners are very helpful and friendly and are pleased to help in any way possible.

The room was well equipped. Only the bathroom is very small but still o. k. for one person. Therefore the price is a bit high in comparrison to other places. The view over Plettenberg Bay is great. Breakfast is fantastic!! The homemade platter was really great. Thank you for all the extras you offered like muffins and wishes for a save journey when I left.
