It's worth reading through this. We booked the accommodation around 11 a.m. and saw that the check-in time was 5 p.m. We then inquired via booking.com if it would be possible to check in between 2-3 p.m. This was confirmed as possible. We arrived at the accommodation at 1:15 p.m., knocked, and politely asked if we could check in early. We were turned away (and not politely) with the response that we were too early. We understood this but were then also lectured that we had requested 2-3 p.m., which we were well aware of. We only wanted to know if it was possible to check in earlier since it was 34°C in Sardinia at that time. They didn’t offer us a place to sit in the cool while we waited for the room to be ready. When we showed up at 2 p.m., we were not warmly welcomed but rather grumpily led to our room. (We know that it’s siesta time, but if you decide to run a BnB and allow guests to check in early, you shouldn't treat them this poorly.) The host also lectured me earlier, as she saw me standing outside with a cigarette, that this was a non-smoking BnB and that smoking wasn't allowed on the balcony either. Throughout the entire conversation, I felt completely lectured. Well, fine, we thought. It’s just one night. When we entered the room, we quickly noticed that the air conditioning wasn’t working. Not exactly funny given the outside temperatures. The temperature kept automatically resetting to 27°C. When we reported the problem, things reached a peak. I was on the phone with a family member as she came in the room, asking if I’m be on the phone complaining to booking.com. First of all, who is she to ask who I’m on the phone with and second of all, all she was worried about was the „review on booking“ that we would give after. She mentioned it two times. Well this is the review that this kind of horrible hospitality deserves.

very comfortable bedroom with access to the cutest little terrace! the hostess was absolutely lovely and friendly.

The landlady always goes the extra mile to meet our needs. This time she has prepared an extra bed to make sure we were comfortable. I have used this BnB in the past and I highly recommended it!

The room was super with a nice big shower and lots of hot water - a pity about the rest.......................

Disinterested owner. We tried to check in at 16h00 and were told 17h00 but they only arrived at around 17h30 No water available - fortunately a shop was still open. We advised that my husband is diabetic We took the precaution of buying breakfast which was very fortuitous as we were only offered dry bread ( no butter) and a croissant
