Booked this place for a quiet/relaxing weekend away and it was anything but It does not look like it does in the pictures on the site Place looks and feels tired and gardens are overgrown We were the only people staying there, but the room was not ready when we arrived so had to come back an hour later and even then it was still not quite ready for us When we did get in there were lots of flies in the room so we had to go and buy fly spray and the place had a general feeling of being quite shabby and tired Layout downstairs was very strange. Separate bedroom, shower and toilets (all lockable) off of a hallway with an open staircase that leads freely to the rest of the building Noise travels easily through the building, could clearly hear the owner playing music and moving furniture around upstairs

Very nice and quiet place. Big beautiful garden all around with outdoor sitting areas. Huge room and bathroom with king sized bed. Absolutely bargain for the quality.

Jason took my call, and made sure I was able to find the property. He met me there at check-in, which was very helpful. It was very good to have private use of the whole ground floor, including the bathroom and toilet.

It would have been nice to have local broadband access - for me this was no great problem, as I had my own mobile WiFi.

Clear directions, easy to find. Would have expected to pay more for the quality of this unique & impressive accommodation. Host extended a warm, generous & genuine welcome for me & my pet. Quiet countryside location; stunning sunset views. Attention to detail, useful facilities ie use of kitchen. Good quality linen & basic wash toiletries supplied - the shared kitchen & guest bathroom reflected in modest fee. A treat to have my breakfast tea made for me!
