B&B Casa Maria Vittoria

We chose this property for our honeymoon. The owners were extremely kind, and communication was fantastic throughout our stay. Every day we received breakfast, the room was cleaned, and the fridge was restocked with water and other refreshments.

The only downside was the location. The property is accessed via a very narrow road, and the surrounding area is not particularly interesting.

Giovani is the GOAT

We loved the warm welcome, the friendliness of Giovanni & Gea and how they went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible (driving and picking us up some evenings from the restaurant; taking us to the beginning of a hiking trail for free, picking us up & driving us back to the airport (for a fixed fee)). They served us a personalised breakfast, which we much appreciated and had on our lovely terrace amidst the lime trees, and the lovely flowers. We liked the general atmosphere of the place, the comfortable & clean room, very good daily service (room, filling the fridge, ...) and the very nice bathroom. Also we had no car, so we liked the fact that the Circumvesuviana train station (Via del Monte) was 15 minutes on foot (buy tickets and the Tabbachieri on the corner of the street leading to the station) and we accessed all our destinations in this manner (Napoli, Pompeï, Ercolano, ........). And some very good restaurants also walking distance (Pizzeria Melluso, Sant' Anna Beach, Tenuta Villa Guerra). The smells all around of jasmine, fig trees, lime trees, ..........

Something not linked to the B&B directly, but more to the region and the way of living; such as the dogs who bark quite a lot in the neighbourhood, sometimes late in the evening or early morning (there is also a dog on the property who barks a little, but is very much under control and not a nuisance).

Un bon petit déjeuner et un accueil très sympathique de la part de notre hôte, qui nous a même conduits et est venu nous rechercher au port de Torre Del Greco, pour prendre le bateau d'excursion à Capri. Maison située au calme dans un joli parc arboré.

Seul inconvénient, mais l'hôte n'y est pour rien : la route d'accès, très étroite et entre des murs, n'est pas en sens unique alors qu'il est impossible de s'y croiser. Heureusement, des échappatoires permettent de contourner le problème.

L’accueil et la proximité des lieux de visites ; Naples Pompei Herculamun, le Vésuve…..Le calme et l’extrême gentillesse de Giovanni et de son épouse.

L’accès un peu difficile à la villa pour un gros véhicule.

Nous cherchions un endroit calme, reposant avec de la verdure, et bien parfait pour cette résidence. Un beau jardin, une hôte très gentille malgré un beug concernant notre réservation, la propriétaire ne s'attendait pas à nous accueillir ce soir là, mais cela n'a poser aucun problème. Un excellent petit déjeuner et une bonne literie.

Certes un endroit isolé comme recherché mais un accès hyper compliqué et difficile. La rue pour l'accés est hyper étroite, quand nous nous sommes engagés il à fallu faire une marche arrière sur une centaine de mètre lors d'un croisement de véhicule, très pénible avec un SUV de location... Un conseil, ne pas suivre son GPS pour s'engager dans la ruelle , il faut prendre la rue à l'opposé, la distance pour accéder à la propriété est plus courte.

The yard around the house was unkempt and run-down, and the location was terrible — there was absolutely nothing nearby. The room and the house smelled bad inside, so we had to keep the window open all the time.

Wunderschön gelegenes B&B in einer Art Park. Gastgeber unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gute Croissants und Brötchen zum Frühstück.
