We booked our stay with Michele quite late in the evening while travelling through Europe, yet she welcomed us warmly without any hesitation. When we arrived, she was already preparing a beautiful room for us and made us feel at home from the very first moment. We were given our own private area in the garden, where we enjoyed a light welcome meal accompanied by homemade juices made from fruits and vegetables grown in her garden. It was a wonderful and authentic experience. Every morning, Michele also served a delicious homemade local breakfast at the agreed time, which we greatly appreciated. Ingrid also enjoyed a wonderful shiatsu treatment before we continued our journey, which made our stay even more special. As a passionate nature photographer, I especially appreciated Michele’s generous willingness to share her knowledge of the local wildlife. She gave us great tips on where to spot foxes, roe deer, and wild boar in the surrounding area. The property is located in a peaceful, scenic, and truly beautiful setting. More than a host, Michele made us feel as though we were visiting a friend rather than staying in paid accommodation. She generously took time to recommend hiking routes, beautiful nearby places to visit, and local wineries. Her four-legged friend, Pria, was also delightful company whenever she stopped by to say hello. We genuinely hope to return one day. Not a thing

We loved everything about Il Cielo. The location is remote and very quiet, which was just what we needed. Michèle was lovely and made us feel right at home, and her homemade breakfasts were fabulous! We can't wait to come back, hopefully for an even longer stay!!!

We felt at home as soon as we stepped out of the car. The property is exceptionally well-maintained,inside and out. The countryside surrounding it is breathtaking. The host was attentive but never intrusive. And mostly, the property exudes a peacefulness that was quite refreshing.

I wouldn’t have changed one thing.

This was a beautiful place, a real retreat. It is calm and peaceful where you can see the stars in the middle of the night. Michèle is a welcoming host and very helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. We had a beautiful time and consider the place one of our highlights of our travels.
