Warm on Waterloo

Upon arrival the host was warm and welcoming as we didn't end up meeting the wife. It felt like as if we were in our own place which isn't. The hosting service went above and beyond and being a private home, the house was warm and that it felt like you belonged. The host also mentioned upon arrival what to expect as rules while we stayed. Location isn't that bad either as it's just a few km's to town if you need anything and also not far from the esplanade and the local pools and as you drive to get into town there's a few local shops before you get to main town where the Plaza is. Food was offered to you in the morning and served the basics which is cereal, milk, yogurt, bacon, eggs, baked beans, spaghetti and toast with choice of some spreads. There were some amenities being shared with the guests and the owners of the place as being shared that is what you'll expect from the guest. Shower great pressure and good for after long day being out also there was a bath tub. Bathroom was a shared one too. Spa was available if we wanted to use it and was no extra cost for using it which in the end my partner and I didn't end up using it. Rooms were great and reasonable size. Had a oil heater if needed. Bed was comfortable and enjoyed our rest. Lounge where there was an extra TV reasonable size and couch was comfortable. Price is great for what you get from it. They allowed us to use their washing machine if we needed to wash our clothes for no extra cost either and it was located in the garage. Garage where it was big enough to have a small party which you're not allowed being their own home.

Nothing to say here besides that I didn't see a dog yet saw a cat roaming outside the house. No pets allowed. I was wondering if they were okay if someone needed an assitance animal for their hidden ability or ones that has abilities that is noticeable will they still be accepting?

Felt safe as a single woman traveller. House and host had great energy. Great choices for breakfast. Quiet area. Easy parking. Walking paths everywhere. Comfortable, warm, bed.

Need to drive a bit to get to CBD.

Great breakfast, comfy beds, great hosting - we were able to help ourselves to a range of breakfast options, including making our own eggs.

The weather! It wasn't good on that day, so it was nice to find this heaven

Beautiful and warm home with all the facilities we needed. Breakfast was included (the works) and set up for us but unfortunately we had to hit the road early so didnt partake in this little luxury. Our host Maha was lovely and welcoming. Exceptional stay 👌

Lovely and cozy stay. We have been here twice before and really enjoy staying here. The family is lovely to talk to as well.
