Mill Cottage - Ash Farm Cotswolds

Mill cottage at ash farm is wonderful, the room was large and beautiful overlooking the lush green farm. The hosts were amazing and so friendly who couldn’t do enough to help you. The cooked breakfast was the best I’d ever had with fresh eggs from the farm chickens. Chantal and Dan work so hard to make your stay perfect and I can’t wait to go back. Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. I cannot rave about this wonderful place enough. You will not be disappointed.

There was nothing to dislike

Das Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet und war sehr gut, die Lage ist einmalig im Grünen und es ist sehr ruhig. Ausreichend (für England) Platz für das Parken des Autos vorhanden. Sehr freundliche Besitzer die auch immer wieder nachfragen ob man etwas braucht oder ob etwas fehlt.

Ich würde nicht sagen "nicht gefallen" denn das klingt für zu negativ. Vielleicht eher "zu beachten" bevor man bucht: - das Zimmer ist etwas kleiner als es am Bild aussieht (wir hatten ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten) - Koffer konnten nur vor den Betten abgestellt werden da sonst nicht wirklich dafür Platz ist, wenig Stauraum für die Kleidung, störte uns aber nicht wirklich, da wir mittlerweile eh lieber aus dem Koffer leben - ein bisschen Zeit fürs Frühstück einplanen (da ja frisch zubereitet) - liegt abseits von Stow-on-the-Wold - daher super ruhig und mit Blick ins Grüne, wer aus dem Quartier gehen und mitten in der Stadt sein will, ist hier definitiv falsch - es gibt kein Restaurant, nach dem Frühstück ist auswärts Essen angesagt oder sich eine Kleinigkeit mitnehmen (keine Kritik, wussten wir vorher, nur als Info)

Room really needed a fan for summer weather

The breakfast was the best. Location is very good

Everything was perfect

The breakfasts were excellent - freshly prepared and tasty. We were offered more than we wanted! The room was spacious with an attractive view from the windows. The shower was excellent. Parking was very easy. Chantal was a very pleasant, friendly and helpful hostess.

There's a very nasty turn-off on a blind corner at the junction to the access road - not their fault and just can't be helped.

The breakfast was amazingly good and the proprietress was lovely.

The room was small with no storage for luggage. There were no facilities for eating in the room - no toaster, cutlery or fridge. We normally book self catering accommodation and I made a mistake booking a true B&B. I learned my lesson!

Great location out in the countryside and very peaceful with wonderful hosts. Our accommodation Mill cottage was very spacious and clean. Perfect for exploring the area.
