Quiet neighborhood, clean room and recently rennovated

First of all, the place owner was very helpful. He provided us with a list of useful places like stores, restaurants, cafeterias, etc. Pretty much all of those places turned out to be well worth the money and soon became our favourite spots at the end of the day after touring Pompeii. Another good thing, the place is only a few minutes walk away from the beach.

The property is exactly what you pay for and a bit more. Before I had even arrived in Italy Antonio text me and said hello, gave me an exact map location, as well as recommended restaurants, bars etc and advised where the train station was. (I had checked all this, but it’s a great thing to do). The room was perfect and clean. I was very comfortable and the facilities were great. There was a nice cold bottle of water waiting for me when I arrived. There is a lovely little pizzeria 2 minutes away which I also enjoyed. The morning after my stay I walked to Pompeii. It took me around 25 minutes but not a bad walk at all.

I have no complaints at all. Everything was perfect and exactly what I needed.

It was clean

2 out of 4 days there was no hot water. Also the owner/ house keeper was shutting down the air conditioner while we were out during the day

The room was comfortable and clean. The aircon worked well and had shutters for the window. There was a communal area for coffee and tea and a fridge to store food. Antonio was communicative before our arrival and check in was easy. He offered us a few local spots to eat and was kind enough to pick us up for a small fee after our Pompeii visit. The room was walking distance to Pompeii (25-30min). Grocery store and nice cafe very close by. Would recommend it if you're on a budget and want a day to see Pompeii and a day to go to Sorrento.

There's not much in the local area and it was hard to get around. There aren't any taxis. When you get to Pompeii there are loads of taxis but stated they would charge 30€ for a 5min drive. The local train stations are about a 25min walk, maybe a bit longer if you have luggage. If you're on a budget and are able to walk most of the day, it's a good spot to go see Pompeii and take a day trip to Sorrento. If you have money to burn and want convenience, stay in Sorrento and day trip to Pompeii. As far as accommodation goes, the only issue was the wifi cut in and out but came good on our second day. Overall, a good spot to sleep after a day of sight seeing.
