Great to see this accomodation has kept the local tradition and served smoked Kippers for breakfast. The restaurant, breakfast, room and staff are exceptional.

Lacked any kind of soul. The staff were very uncommunicative and didn’t seem to be enjoying life much except the lady who cleaned the rooms

The staff were excellent, professional, friendly and very helpful at all times. The service in the restaurant was impeccable and we couldn't fault. The food in the restaurant was also very high standard, good menu and a good breakfast selection.

When we arrived there were major building works being undertaken. We hadn't been told beforehand and turned up to find that there was no through route from the restaurant to the bedrooms. The car parking spaces were limited to 2 because of the works.

The location was good for where I wanted to go. The young lady who served us breakfast both days was superb and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was also good. I am celiac and they catered for me.

Parking was a problem at the pub as there was very limited spaces. The room needed a bit of TLC but the bed was comfortable. Could have done with a comfortable chair in the room instead of a dining room chair.

Lovely weekend away, hosts were lovely & helped make stay really lovely
