Château de Vaulogé

The track leading to the Château is quite rough and a challenge for low riding vehicles. Once there, parking is easy and spacious. We were greeted by the owner, Micol, who is a very pleasant and friendly lady. She made us very welcome. We had evening Dinner there, which was preceded by a flute of champagne. The food was basic, but well cooked by Micol. Breakfast was amazing. Extremely good quality and lots of choice.

There are winding steep stairs to our bedroom which seemed to go on for ever. Also, our room was split level with awkward steps down to the sleeping area.

Super building in a fantastic location perfectly suited to a relaxing break. Our hostess ensured we were well catered for and enjoyed the most delightful time. The food was marvellous with many products fresh from the garden or local suppliers.

Very sad to be leaving so soon. We wished to have stayed longer.

The pool

Beautiful setting, lovely food and welcoming staff. Our room was excellent!

The only small thing would be better signage for the Chateau, possibly a sign across the road from the turnoff. You can easily miss the small track/rood to access the property.

A beautiful traditional French chateau set in stunning grounds. The rooms were fabulous and the breakfast exceptional.

Would be even better if we could have had an evening meal there!

Definitely The swimming pool! Because the heat is warm and comfortable, and the floating thingy!

Everything Is amazing there is nothing to improve.

Excellent management, fantastic castle and surrroundings. It makes your soul smile!

Easier access to dinner in the evening, but selfmade picnic outside can be recommended.

We loved everything about the Château de Voulge. Mecol our host was friendly and so helpful. We will be back!
