Wow! What a fabulous apartment…in a beautiful old building with a stunning contemporary interior. We had the apartment with a large terrace overlooking the church which was really gorgeous…it was so much more than the described deluxe double room as we had a luxurious bedroom with a separate living room which had a kettle, coffee maker, toaster and fridge, dining table, chairs and sofa. Bed was really comfortable with lovely bed linen…we slept so well here. Christian was an exceptional host, we got the bus from Catania and he came to meet us at the bus stop and took us to the apartment. He was so very kind and helpful with everything that we needed, even helping us with our onward journey the next day. There were breakfast things available in the apartment but also a voucher for complimentary breakfast at a local cafe called Caprice, definitely worth going there, 10 minute walk and a lovely outside area to have your coffee and pastry…very popular. Apartment is well situated and very quiet at night when the church bells have stopped ringing, which wasn’t too late. It’s good value too.

Nothing to dislike, it was perfect.

we received a really friendly greeting from a very helpful caretaker. our room was a super spacious, sunlit and wonderfully appointed: a large comfortable bed with high quality bedlinen, the bathroom facilities were stylish. I loved the traditional tiles on the floor and excellent new but traditional style shutters which blocked the morning light well (not a given in all places). from our balcony we had a view of a piazza on one side & San Paolo church on the other. breakfast makings were provided on a table & milk & juice in the fridge. we also were given vouchers for café capriccio on the corso in the centre of town where the croissants were the best I've had in Sicily. we couldn't recommend this place more highly and enjoyed our stay in charming P. Acreide even more!

Very clean, nicely decorated apartment, modern fixtures, very comfortable bed, one of best we have stayed at on our 3 week Italy trip, up there with a top end hotel, we would highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment with an amazing balcony. The town is a gem also.

This is a first rate place to stay in Piazzolo Acreide, a very attractive town that is well worth a visit. The accommodation is well positioned for access to all the sights. It is quite easy to find and our host was able to direct us to a free parking space nearby. The room and bathroom were perfect and spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable. There are plenty of items for breakfast and coffee in the room but there are also vouchers to spend at a super caffe in the town. Highly recommended.

Simply an amazing place to stay. The service and kind help we got from the owner was way beyond what anyone could expect. The location is very nice, on a small piazza opposite a beautiful church.

Very spacious room, clean, big bathroom & balcony! View to the church & 10 minutes walk (good little stair climb!) up to main plaza. Good restaurant nearby if you don’t want walk up. Easy parking close by.

What an amazing experience! A hidden gem in Palazzolo Acreide, right in front of the Basilica of San Paolo. Spot clean, large room with a sitting area, fully equipped with Lavazza's "A Modo Mio" coffee machine, kettle and mini-fridge. Veri comfy bed. Self-service breakfast and/or afternoon tea is provided for in the room: Lavazza "A Modo Mio" coffee capsules, assorted teas, rusks, biscuits, mini Tartlets, Plum Cake, jam, fruit juices, soft drink, bottled water. En suite bathroom with large walk-in shower, good toiletries. The ancient but perfect floor is tiled with tiles, possibly dating back to the early 1900s! Free parking on a public road right in front of the house. Good WiFi. Last but not least, upon arrival the host hands over a free voucher for each guest to be redeemed at a famous Palazzolo's pastry shop. Highly recommend
