House Of The Three Marias

The Three Marias is a very comfortable, pretty, friendly guesthouse in a lovely rural location, and Peter and Lineke could not be more helpful or welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and it was wonderful to have shady, outdoor spaces that we were welcome to use all day. Breakfast was also exceptional, with warm, local bread, Lineke's home baked cakes and fresh fruit. The guesthouse is also within easy reach of several river beaches, and only an hour from the coast. All in all, I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Very hospitable hosts, spotlessly clean rooms in the heart of rural Portugal.

The bed was a bit hard, for us less comfortable, but that is a personal preference!

Peter was one of the best hosts that I had the please to meet. We felt at home right from the start with his hospitality and beautiful country house. If we need to stay again near Pedrógão Grande we will stay definitely again in the House of the three Marias.

Received a super warm welcome from Lineke. The place is very charming in a beautiful, quite location. You can feel love and care for every single detail. The garden and the views were great. Breakfast was very filling, made using products from their garden. Loved everything! If you are looking for a quite and beautiful escape, this is your place!

Breakfast was huge and varied,coffee was superb and freshly ground.Peter and Leneke were very welcoming and so helpful with local knowledge.I liked the outside terraces and cool breakfast cum living room for guests.It is such a charming property.I no doubt will be visiting again.

I have only praise for this stay and can think of no aspects in which to improve.They have covered all needed for a short or longer stay.

The location was perfect for our stay in the central region. The renovated traditional village house was simple, clean, well equipped room and the friendliest hoteliers we've met in years. The place has a flower and tree garden that should rate as a Zen shrine, Breakfast was phenomenal, all fresh products and made to perfection, We rarely needed lunch during our stay. the owners, a Dutch couple that settled in the are and renovated the inn, are fun to chat, very professional, gave us amazing tips and helped us secure reservations to various excursions. The place is not for glamping seekers, no TV, no Jacuzzi, just a good bed, great shower, excellent breakfast and a feeling of home away from home.

The ashtrays were a bit small.
