West Wold Farm House B&B

What a wonderful little farmhouse. The location was perfect, so quiet and fantastic views from the bedroom window. I loved hearing the chickens and sheep and watching the sun go down. The room was lovely and comfortable with plenty of tea/coffee. There was a telly and a nice big ensuite bathroom with a shower. I didn't have any breakfast, but the host was lovely. She offered me breakfast or to make me lunch to take with me, which was very much appreciated. I took my dog with me, and she even left me a cover for the bed in case the dog jumped on. I only stayed a couple of nights, but was sad to leave and wished I was staying longer. I've all ready tried to book again, but the dates are not available. I would definitely recommend staying here, if you like peace and quiet.

There wasn't anything I didn't like

The location was lovely, Pam was so welcoming and accommodating. Really comfy bed and the complimentary tea, biscuit and toiletries much appreciated.

I won't stay anywhere else when I come to visit family. Pam is very welcoming and friendly. Accommodation is comfortable. Breakfast is very filling, with plenty of choice. Use of conservatory and garden means it's more homely. Have recommended that my uncle and aunt stay with Pam when they are visiting.

The winding staircase, but I always pack for a week, coming from Cumbria, I pack for all seasons, so the size of my case makes it a challenge to negotiate the stairs. But that's what makes the place special and different from other places, it gives the place character.

A lovely stay with an amazing host!! Pam was very helpful and friendly and made us feel very at home. She made us an amazing breakfast, and her homemade marmalade was gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again. Plus the garden centre right next door is lovely and served a great lunch.

The lady running the place was friendly and really nice. Couldn’t do more to help. Her English breakfast was fantastic. Parking was secure, which was a bonus when you are on motorbikes.

The location was a pro & con. So peaceful, quiet and beautiful but there is only one taxi firm in the area to take you into and back from town. We were on motorbikes so needed transport. We got lucky and found a great pub to eat in Barton upon Humber. If you are willing to drive in then there are no downsides to the property.
