B&B Villa Claudia

Un posto davvero speciale! Mi sono trovata benissimo: accoglienza calorosa, atmosfera familiare e tanta cura in ogni dettaglio. Il giardino è spettacolare — enorme, curatissimo, con zone d’ombra e di sole, sdraio per rilassarsi, tavolini esterni per la colazione e anche un angolo perfetto per l’aperitivo serale, con le candele accese che creano un’atmosfera magica. Il buffet della colazione è servito su un bellissimo tavolo da falegname che dà un tocco unico. Dentro casa si sta benissimo, fresco e tranquillo anche nei giorni più caldi. La posizione è super comoda: in pochi minuti si arriva a Lugano, Varese, Luino e in tutte le zone del lago. Marchirolo è davvero un punto strategico. Consiglio questo B&B a tutti — amici, parenti, chiunque cerchi un posto autentico e rilassante. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans 2 belles chambres avec salle de bains privatives dans une très belle maison. Etat de propreté impeccable. Claudia est une hôte très sympathique ; elle nous a même accueilli en moto pour nous montrer le chemin jusqu'à la maison.Elle parle très bien le français; et j'ai eu un coup de coeur pour son adorable chien. On a pris le petit-déjeuner dans le beau jardin.

Comme il faut ajouter quelque chose de négatif, je dirai que le petit-déjeuner serait à amoliorer

The property is lovely, and Claudia truly goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. The homemade breakfast items and beautiful views are a special highlight!

We struggled to find the property on the first day, but this appears to be a problem with Booking.com rather than the host. The address listed on Booking.com is incorrect and should be corrected with the owner. It is in Marchirolo not wherever it says it is. In addition, Google maps shows the property in a different location. We finally found it by following the GPS but were led to the wrong place twice due to unclear and inconsistent information. To be fair to Claudia, in her welcome message, the address is correct, but we did not notice the difference and instead followed booking.com and then Google maps, which we believe others are at risk of doing if it isn’t updated.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Egal ob Garten oder die Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Gastgeberin Claudia macht das seit Jahren mit einer großen Leidenschaft und hilft, wo sie kann.

Bei der gastfreundlichen und hilfsbereiten Besitzerin, Claudia, haben wir uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die zentrale Lage hat uns viele Möglichkeiten zum Biken, Wandern, sich erholen und Kulinarik ermöglicht. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Die Zufahrt zum Haupteingang: Die Strecke, welche zum Hintereingang des Hauses führt, ist viel besser.

1 - Thinnest Bad "towels" I have ever seen in my life - hardly useable. 2 - Breakfast very basic 3 - Rules, rules, rules - you can't do this, you can't do that. You get a full A4 of house rules, best way to loose your comfort upon arrival. 4 - Wayyyyyyy overpriced

Claudia (and her dog) were very accomodating and the house is lovely! Total peace..
