Gorse Farm House B&B

The friendly welcome and genuine interest in us were the highlight of our stay. The comfortable and oversize bed and the hot baths were also very welcome, as were the generous breakfasts.

The short but rather bumpy driveway from the main road to the house challenged the car's suspension - and my back.

We booked at Gorse Farm House partly because of the excellent ratings and we were not disappointed. We would definitely endorse all the good reviews. Our room was light and airy, the bed extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. We had all we needed in the room and there was even a box of 'useful' things (e.g. paracetemol and a torch) in one of the cupboards. Breakfast was also excellent. Thank you Wendy and Lee for a very pleasant stay and for all the local knowledge!

It's difficult to find anything to criticise, the only thing I would mention is that it would have been nice to have a (disposable?} tooth mug or glass in the bathroom.

The host and hostess were very kind and helpful people. From the start of your stay you know you will be well looked after. Everything was above our expectations. We had a very nice time during our stay.

We had a fantastic time at this charming and peaceful Bed and Breakfast with two friends and my girlfriend. Wendy and Lee took great care of us, ensuring we had everything we needed, from a delicious breakfast to a conveniently prepared iron for the shirts we required for a wedding. The place was impeccably clean, and we enjoyed a wonderful bath and comfortable bed. Overall, it was a delightful and enjoyable experience, and I would certainly recommend it to others.

Beautiful location, and accomodation and a delicious breakfast. Wendy and Lee where so friendly and accommodating. Couldn't fault any part of our stay. We definitely will be back when we are back down in Dorset.

Wendy & Lee were exceptional hosts, extremely friendly, welcoming, engaging and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely, well presented and beautifully cooked, catering for different requirements. They happily offered advice about eating out in the evening. They were happy for us to access the garden. We were able to park the car under a bespoke car port. The property was incredibly peaceful and quiet and in a beautiful location. We felt very much like Wendy & Lee were friends, and wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend them to our family and friends. A really superb experience.

The only minor inconvenience was having a shower in a free-standing bath.
