Fantastic location. Right next to a park for children to enjoy. Comfortable rooms which were clean. Living room had assortment of games / books to enjoy during the stay.

We weren't given instructions on what to expect when we arrived. We called the number on booking.com when we arrived at an uninhabited house. The owner gave us the code to the key box by the door so we were able to let ourselves in. We weren't provided any further information on arrival. I located the WiFi code on the wall behind the door in the kitchen. We stayed here years ago and had the most amazing time, I might have not scored as low if it weren't for having that great experience to compare it to. Although it was well kept the kitchen reminded me of a shared kitchen in a student house, the cups were dirty (not stained they were not washed) and plates had been piled in the cupboards dirty. There was no real excuse for this because the accomodation did provide clothes and washing liquid. There was a coffee machine but no instructions on how to use it and I didn't feel confident that it was clean based on the state of the items in the kitchen. I couldn't be sure this had been inspected or maintained ahead of our stay. We did use the fridge and that was clean. In the absence of having someone there it would have been good to have a welcome note with instructions for wi fi, coffee machine etc. Complimentary tea / coffee would have been nice too as we arrived quite late and ended up having to go out to find a small supermarket to get these items.
