Everything was perfect.

Such a fantastic family ran business! Allesandra and Gigliola were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Communication was great, by email, WhatsApp and face to face. On arrival we were provided with info about the lake and given discount passes for ferries and entry to various places of interest. Allesandra even sorted out times for our train journey home. Both ladies were amazing, warm, caring hosts! We ate a fabulous continental breakfast everyday, lots of choice including freshly made coffee and homemade cake. Gigliola or G as we called her did our ironing and made us cake to take home, lovely personal touches. The historical building is a quirky place with tons of character which has been in the family for 400 years, you can see why! It is situated in a good, central location in a side street off the main square with views of both the castle and the lake. 5 minute walk down-hill to restaurants/bars/harbour/ferries/beach, also walkable up-hill to bus stops 10 mins, train station 20 mins.

Charming little B&B in a genuine part of Desenzano. A very welcoming place with a lot of personal touch. Our room was nicely decorated with old furniture and had a beautiful view from the balcony. They served an amazing breakfast in the back yard, that was also decorated with a lot of personality. The house has been in the owner's family for over 400 years... This was without doubt our best stay after 10 nights in Italy.

Nothing. Perhaps the style (with a lot of antiquities) is not to everyone's liking, but I loved it.

The location, the balcony, the bath at the end of the bed, the bed, the breakfast cooked by the owner a lovely lady who welcomed us along with her husband like two old friends and attended to all and any needs. We had breakfast in the old courtyard with te family dog at our feet. The place is just a magic throwback to charm and high class comfort at an affordable price in magic setting overlooking a collection of old rooftops to the lake as it opens before you. We can't wait to return

the lift could have worked but the climb wasnt exactly tough

It was such a nice room and lovely balcony overlooking the lake. It was the best location. The breakfast was served in the small cortyard and it was a wonderful breakfast with everything you need, top quality ham and cheeses and exlusive juices bought from a local farm nearby. They served scrambled eggs or eggs the way you want it and this was the highlight of the day for my son. I would definately stay here again if I ever come back. Lovely family owned B&B.

nice area to stay! the breakfast was really basic, but the omelet was good!

really noisy building, even with closed windows, the noise from the buildings around started at 4-5 am...

Location excellent. Hosts pleasant :)

Room did not meet expectations - bed uncomfortable and noisy room - dirty crockery and cold showers. If we had realised it was a 4pm check in, we wouldn't have booked.
