The property was picturesque from the delicious breakfast in the courtyard to a glass of wine looking at the Loire River. Large comfortable rooms, easy parking, convenient to Amboise and Tours. I was traveling with my 21 yo son and we were both sad to leave!

Avec un couple de propriétaires d'une très grande gentillesse, des confitures maison et gâteaux de grande qualité. La possibilité en plus de manger sur place et pourquoi pas en extérieur devant en parc magnifique. Que dire de plus en une vue traversante dans notre chambre. La Loire et le parc avec des arbres centenaires !

Super mooie plek, super vriendelijke ontvangst. Zeer gastvrije hosts. Wij hadden bewust kamer met uitzicht op de Loire geboekt, was prachtig, maar wel wat lawaaiig vanwege ligging aan de weg. Komen hier graag terug voor wat langere periode.

We stayed here to visit the small where my ancestors were from. The Chateau was very charming and comfortable. James and Celine were wonderful hosts and so helpful- our trains were inconvenient and James kindly gave us a ride to the town and next train station. The breakfast was very good. The town of Montlouis itself is very small with not much to see but James reccomended nearby Ambois has castles and many things see and do.
