"Very tiny apartamens with many autentic details."

10.0

Autentic, but with very good renovation. Bath is absolutely new, it looks like we are the first there. The room too. Very cozy breakfast with real warm of old fire place. Good breakfast. I love this 500y building ! :)) The view from balcony is amazing!

Not very good sound proofing with another room. Room is small. But very cute :)

"Just Perfect"

10.0

What a little hidden delight! I stayed here whilst working in San Giovanni Bianco and I was so pleasantly surprised to find this cute and quaint little gem of a B & B. It is beautifully located within the gorgeous mountains overlooking the River Brembo. It has a spacious kitchen area, and holds 3 differently styled bedrooms, each with their own beautiful little character. Breakfast was wonderful and the service equally fantastic! Grazie per tutti!

"Warm welcome, wonderful food"

10.0

We visited El Sopra as part of a great walking holiday with 46 Degrees. All of the Bed and Breakfasts were excellent but our two nights at El Sopra stand out for the superb quality of the welcome and the food. The house itself is well equipped and nicely decorated and the balcony was a great place to sit and enjoy our welcome beer. We were encouraged to treat the house as if it were ours. Nice touches like the bowl of sweets in the television room, the bath (bliss to folk who had been walking for 9 hours) and the fully stocked fridge. Our dinners were wonderful with some of the best pasta and cheeses and all home made or locally sourced. Breakfast brought what felt like the whole family round to share cheese, meats, doughnuts and pies and the packed lunches were magnificent. Marie Theresa, Oscar, Julia and many other family members made us feel welcome and sent us back onto the trail with full stomachs and happy hearts.

"A very friendly place with wonderful hosts"

10.0

We stayed here for 2 days at the end of September as part of a walking trip across the hills of Bergamo. It was difficult to find as it is hidden away down an alleyway at the end of the village of Briolo. We had trouble finding Briolo itself as it is perched on a hillside overlooking San Giovanni Bianco and we were on foot. In desperation, we rang and Oskar kindly drove to pick up up. He spoke perfect English and made us feel at home straight away. The pace of life here makes a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle (not to mention the noise) of Italian cities. You are in amongst the vegetable gardens, the vines and the sound of animals and birds (dogs, ducks, hens etc.) and there is great feeling of being close to nature. Marie Therese does not speak any Engish but has a big smile and a warm personality. The breakfast was good and the company was stimulating. We had long chats with Oskar from everthing from the history of the area to the fortunes of the Atalanta football club. We were sorry to leave and we hope to return another day.
