La serviabilité des propriétaires, la beauté du paysage de montagne, la salle de bain chauffée.

Internet était parfois trop lent et il fallait se déplacer dans la maison pour trouver le signal, mais nous sommes à la montagne et c'est compréhensible.

The hosts were lovely and the breakfast they serve is excellent, with delicious home made jams, fresh bread, fruits, juices and yogurt. The property is comfortable, warm and clean. Great position to hike Piton de la Fournaise.

The lady owner Sylvie is so welcoming! The location is perfect and a short drive to Route du Volcan. However, there’s nothing nearby, the closest shops is 4 km. So if you plan to stay here stop by at the shop first. There are a few supermarkets in town. There’s a kitchen at this Chambre d’hotes with complete cooking facilities good if you like to prepare your meals. Parking is right outside.

It’s quite a small room, although I’m traveling solo but a bit cramped for two people. The small bathroom is separated from the room. It can be cold in the evening inside the room when they turn off the heater. Wifi works only in the common area, sometimes in the room but the signal goes off and on. For best connection you need to seat the communal place.

For those arriving by car, the location is optimal for the volcano tour. The immediate surroundings are not very nice, mainly consisting of cattle farms, but the garden of the hostel is a small oasis. I liked that there is a bathroom opposite each room (on the other side of the corridor). I liked the solution that the lowest shelf of the shelf serves as a desk. The breakfast is prepared there. This is advantageous in that you can eat early in the morning and head to the volcano.

A comfortable stay in an excellent location, with very accommodating and well-organized hosts. Well situated for visiting the volcano and other sights in the island’s southeast corner. Nothing is walkable but plenty of restaurants and other essentials nearby.

Wc out of the room. Humidity smell allover the house, towells. AC controled exclusiveslly by the owner, temperature and working time. Breakfast with frozen bread.
