St. George's Lodge

I thought it was great value for money and very clean. Everything felt like it was carefully cleaned and regularly. It was warm as well. Staff were friendly.

The main thing was some strange behaviour around breakfast - I was told it was only served 7.30 - 8.30 (on a Sunday!), a poster said 7.30 - 9. Someone came and knocked on my door at 8.15 and asked if I wanted breakfast which I thought was odd - I have never encountered that before in a B&B. The walls were very thin - I could hear someone in the room above me snoring at night.

bed linen was clean and towels provided. bed was comfier than I thought it would be. staff were polite and helpful on arrival and for breakfast. breakfast was hearty and eggs were cooked perfectly.

The bedroom and bathroom were both on the small side. The bathroom was a bit old and outdated including the shower unit.
