Virgilio’s Garden

Mena and her husband greet us with great hospitality. We met with bike accident during our stay. They pick us using their own car, helped us with walking stick, bring breakfast everday to our room. Their hospitality has no words. The most heart touching word is Mena (owner) tell us that we are like their kids. World has so amazing people with out any expectation. I will definitely visit again with my family next summer

Breakfast was bad. Don’t go to restaurant Mama Mia, there are others restaurant down the street.

Very pleasant accommodation and exactly as described. I was able to check in early and was greeted nicely. The owner showed and explained everything to me and was very friendly. Price/value is optimal and everything was as stated.

The city is not the nicest. The air quality isn't the best and I didn't feel very safe walking around at night.

Mena was really helpful and kind. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and where to go. The place is close to the beach and city center (10 minutes by foot) and has everything you need for your stay (doesn’t have a kitchen but we didn’t need it). The Italian breakfast was tasty (coffee and croissant) and it is served at a nearby cafe. Train station to go to other towns is reachable by foot. If you speak a little bit Italian is a plus but if not, the basic information is in English Mena will try to communicate in English

In general the city and the room is very humid so we couldn’t get our clothes dry in two days

this was the most marvelous and relaxing place to stay during my travels! As someone who had been solo traveling for months, this was the perfect escape- the property is gorgeous and tranquil despite the closeness to town, the room (more like a full apartment) is so open and full of light, and of course Mena, the host, was always willing to help and offer assistance in every way. Her and her husband were so warm and welcoming and even offered me a ride when I couldn’t find a taxi in time. Could not have asked for a more welcoming stay and for an amazing price.

truly about nothing. The only remark I have, as someone who likes to cook a lot, is there will be a need for oil/salt/spices if you’re planning to cook, but Mena offered me anything I had missing and I’m sure most people are eating out so not a big concern :)

Well located between two train stations. The room was modern, clean and very well maintained. Our host, Mena, was extremely hospitable and also organised our airport transfer home.

Very friendly and helpful staff, checked us in at 9 pm.
